Non-Profit Agreement

This Non-Profit Agreement explains the responsibilities of non-profits, schools, student groups, teams, clubs, and similar groups that use FundU to create or manage fundraising campaigns.

Non-Profit Participation

Non-profits use FundU to create and manage fundraising campaigns using business partner offers. Non-profits are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of the campaigns they create or promote.

Non-Profit Profile Accuracy

Non-profits are responsible for non-profit name, logo, non-profit type, parent group, member information, and campaign details.

Campaign Responsibilities

Non-profits must ensure campaign descriptions, goals, beneficiary information, and promotional materials are accurate and not misleading.

Member and Attribution Management

Non-profits are responsible for managing members, roles, attribution links, QR codes, and campaign participation.

Payout Eligibility

Non-profits may need to complete Stripe Connect onboarding or other payout requirements. Some proceeds may be handled through manual or internal payout processes when applicable.

Use of Funds

Non-profits are responsible for using funds consistent with their stated campaign purpose and applicable non-profit, school, tax, fundraising, and local rules.

Compliance with School and Non-Profit Rules

Non-profits must comply with university, school, non-profit, club, tax, fundraising, and local rules that apply to them.

Prohibited Campaigns

  • Fraudulent campaigns or misleading campaigns.
  • Campaigns involving illegal activity.
  • Campaigns involving prohibited or restricted products.
  • Impersonation or misuse of a non-profit identity.
  • Other conduct that FundU determines may harm customers, business partners, non-profits, or the platform.

Customer Communications

Non-profits may be responsible for communicating with customers about campaign purpose, expectations, progress, and updates.

FundU Platform Controls

FundU may suspend, remove, or restrict non-profits, campaigns, members, payout access, or related records when FundU believes action is appropriate for platform integrity, compliance, safety, or operational reasons.

Third-Party Business Partners

Non-profits understand that business partners are responsible for product or service fulfillment and inventory accuracy. FundU may help coordinate records and platform workflows, but business partners remain responsible for their offers and fulfillment.
